Late last year I had the pleasure of assisting the lovely Contempo Photography at the wedding of Mel & Si at High Rocks, in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. It was a wonderful day, filled with love and happiness.
High Rocks is situated down a very secluded country lane, which made for a spooky drive back for me in the wind, rain and total pitch black (I scare easy)! Spooky journeys home aside, it is such a beautifully interesting venue. From the ancient rocks themselves, to the steam train stop at the bottom of the garden. A steam train whistled past during the ceremony, causing a few chuckles all round as the timing was impeccable! “You may now kiss the bride” – whoo, whoo!
It was a little too wet and muddy to explore the rocks, but the lovely garden and terrace was the perfect setting for photos!
